The Birthday Boy: {Orlando} Children’s Portrait Photography

January 24th, 2012

My youngest.  His laughter is infectious.  His compassion and kindness to others are deep and true.  Those missing front teeth are precious.  He loves his dog, his brother, catching lizards, and un-sugar-free popsicles.  Every day, he tells me I’m the best mom in the world.  Every night, I wonder what I will ever do without him.  I wish I could stop time and keep him small enough to sit in my lap and read books forever.  I am aware that the days I have him are dwindling so I try to be present and memorize every funny thing he says, how warm his hugs are, and what his hand feels like in mine.

The Canet Family: {Orlando} Children and Family Portraits

January 17th, 2012

I may be slightly partial to this family because it is my sister’s family.  My nephew is a silly, giggly, little boy with an infectious smile who LOVES to ride the tractor with his pop-pop.  They often spend hours together just clearing land and Logan only gets off when its time for the tractor to ‘sleep.’  At home, he sleeps in a custom made tractor bed and its often the first thing he updates you on when you walk in the door (“Shhhh….tractor’s sleeping”).  Since she brought her whole family to Orlando to visit for New Year’s, we thought it would be a great time for an updated family portrait in one of Logan’s favorite places.
